In the modern age, stress and anxiety is a bigger threat than biological pathogens.
Stress and anxiety lie hidden beneath the surface. Often, when we meet a relative or friend, we never realize the amount of stress they might be under. They laugh and interact with us, but we are not privy to what is happening deep within them.
We, human beings, are often good at concealing our vulnerabilities. Often, we hide them from our own selves. We do not realize how anxiety sinks deep into the subconscious layers of our mind, until one day it erupts and completely overwhelms us.
The Coronavirus and how it is affecting our lives, is unprecedented. Let us recognize the stress and anxiety this situation can cause, and please ask a friend or family member to help you calm down. And, if you can help someone become calmer and more peaceful, please do so.
Be peace. At your core you are peace. Be who you are. Be peace.
