Are You Happier and More Content Now Than Last Year?
We pursue happiness all our lives but we find that happiness is always a step ahead of us.
When we do achieve happiness, we find it is transient and temporary. The promotion that you received three years ago, gave you a lot of happiness then, but now dissatisfaction is back because your company will not give you the next promotion.
So is the answer not striving for promotions. No, absolutely not. We all must work hard to achieve greater success.
However, our happiness is far more, way more important than our success. Think about that. Your happiness is more important than success, way more important than any challenge or problem you may be facing in life.
Cherish your happiness. Do not let any circumstance take that away from you. If you do that, you would be taking the first step in the spiritual path. The path that leads to permanent, everlasting peace and happiness.
Happiness that can fill your life and make your life golden. Then you can still pursue promotions, but your quality of life, your experience of life will never be subject to what your boss or company thinks of you.
