Coronavirus and Happiness

A Youtuber I watch regularly posted a video today in which he shared he is stopping because the Coronavirus situation has overwhelmed him emotionally and robbed him of his happiness. He was doing a daily post on positive news.

The fear, loneliness, despondency, and dejection we feel due to the Coronavirus health and economic crisis is justified. Let us observe it, acknowledge it, and then say to ourselves, “I will choose to still feel happy.”

Happiness is a choice. Even in this grim situation, we can make the choice to feel happy. It is not an easy choice to make, but we must make that choice and choose to smile.

We must remind and help each other to feel happy. We owe it to each other.

Happiness is our true nature. Even in this situation, we can feel and spread happiness. We must. The active spreading of happiness must be bigger and more robust than the spread of the virus.

Please be happy. You are happiness at your core. We all are.
